Monsun® 2 LED single luminaire
narrow distribution | LED: 6000lm/7000lm class narrow distribution wide distribution | LED: 5000lm/6000lm/7000lm class wide distribution
narrow or wide distribution | with changeover relay narrow or wide distribution | with self-contained supply

The damp-proof luminaires of the Monsun® 2 LED family were developed for especially challenging environments with high dust, humidity and temperature. The system is sealed for life and has an IP66 protection rating. The robust housing is of glass-fibre reinforced plastic combined with an impact-resistant PC cover (IK08) or a non-yellowing PMMA cover (IK03).
The inherent shape and smooth surfaces prevent dirt deposits.
The optics with longitudinal prisms ensure homogeneous and glare-minimised distribution of light.
Monsun® 2 LED luminaires are suitable for ceiling, wall and suspended mounting. Simple trunking arrangements are possible via single luminaires with integrated through-wiring, or with luminaires for integrating into the Modario® trunking system from Siteco.
Switchable variants, variants with DALI light control and emergency light functionality are available.

Information for DC operation (220…240V DC):
Luminous flux reduction to approx. 15% with DC voltage operation

Lighting technology

Luminaire with injection-moulded prismatic cover with inner prisms; direct narrow or direct wide light distribution with decent ceiling illumination

Rapid advances in LED technology lead to permanent improvements in energy efficiency. This has the consequence that the luminous flux or power consumption may change accordingly. The current values can be found in the photometric report of each product and in the current download files of the lighting planning data.
