Daylight Systems
The use of daylight is desired from a biological/psychological viewpoint, but it also has disadsvantages such as glare and uncomfortable increases in room temperature. In order to avoid these negative influences, Siteco has developed daylight systems such as the micro sun shield louvre. This consists of specially formed, specular longitudinal and cross louvres that firstly reflect direct, hot sunlight back outwards and secondly allow cool, diffuse daylight to pass into the interior.
Daylight systems such as this create:
- a dynamic, colour-true ambience
- sunlight protection and warmth protection
- a reduction in energy use through the harnessing of daylight
- the possibility to orientate oneself in space and time due to the full presence of information about the progress of daylight change during the day
