H3 Circular LuminaireThe H3 circular luminaire was designed as a surface mounted circular luminaire with secondary reflector and central module. Originally the luminaire was conceived for the arrival floor areas of Madrid Barajas, the airport designed by Richard Rogers Partnership, London, and Estudio Lamela, Madrid. The pleasant brightness is guaranteed thanks to optimised lighting technology. A Lunis R downlight with T 16 circular fluorescent lamps and high frequency gear from Osram installed in the centre of every H3 circular luminaire beams light downwards to be partially caught by a suspended reflector ring and reflected onto a large double parabolic secondary reflector, flooding the space with warm, directed light. The wok form was also optimised for acoustic requirements. It allows a uniform irradiation of the space with loudspeakers that can be integrated into the centres of the Lunis R downlights. The housing is suspended on threaded rod. Concept:
