Central module: with perforated sheet steel cover, colour identical to downlight housing

Electrical

Luminaire wired ready for connection, with 4-pole connection terminal (3-pole for normal mains with switched phase* + single pole for additional unswitched phase* for emergency light element), max. 2.5mm² | with ECG, with single battery emergency light element* (for 1h operation) and with LED (for optical self-test functioning control of battery**)

Rated voltage = 220…240V / AC 50…60Hz

* the switched phase (terminal >L1<) and the unswitched phase (terminal >L2<) must have the same phase angle | the emergency light battery is charged over the unswitched phase and the luminaire is informed of the operational condition (normal or emergency):

  • non-switched phase in operation: ---> normal operation (luminaire operation via mains, normal on/off switching)
  • non-switched phase missing: ---> emergency operation (via battery) | luminaire is switched on even when luminaire was switched off in normal operation

    ** LED signals:
    Green LED: battery connected and charged
    Green blinking LED: battery being charged
    Red blinking LED: battery not connected or defect
    Yellow blinking LED: automatic discharging / charging of battery

    Emergency operation with reduced lumen output:
    Lumen output phi=17% (T16-R 40W lamp)
    Lumen output phi=17% (T16-R 55W lamp)

    permissible ambient temperature for luminaire with single battery emergency light element:
    0°C…25°C
