Diffuser luminaires from the Europlex® family are suitable for a wide range of applications with their high protection ratings and various lamping possibilities. Some luminaire types even satisfy the stringent conditions for earthquake resistance such as required for power plants. The following light distribution patterns can be achieved with the various covers and specular reflectors: wide distribution with ceiling illumination, both symmetric or asymmetric (with prismatic cover) or diffuse distribution with ceiling illumination with the opal cover. The flat upper luminaire housing component is constructed with torsionally rigid sheet steel, giving the Europlex® luminaires a high degree of stability even when suspended.
Special features
specific versions with certification for earthquake resistance, therefore suitable for e.g. nuclear power plants and civil defence buildings
high-grade diffuser and sealing for protection against dust
high inherent stability even with suspended installation
luminaires have same contours with varying light sources
with attractive diffusers for homogeneous room illumination and a pleasant ambience
easy mounting with simple fixing of cover via twist-lock catches
Housing
Flat housing of torsionally rigid sheet steel, pure white (similar to RAL 9010); with plastic end caps, white | cover of impact-resistant, non-yellowing PMMA, cast from one piece and completely recyclable | diffuser fixing with twist lock catches
Electrical
Luminaire wired ready for connection | with 3-pole connection terminal, max. 2.5mm² | cable entry suitable for cables D≤ 10.5mm (luminaires with narrow housing) or D≤ 12mm (luminaires with wide housing) | through-wiring above luminaire possible via sheathed cable (e.g. NYM) for continuous row mounting
Lighting technology
Prismatic diffuser with outer prism optics for direct wide distribution
with highly specular aluminium reflector, symmetric distribution
with highly specular aluminium reflector, asymmetric distribution
without reflector direct wide distribution with ceiling illumination
