The damp-proof diffuser luminaires of the Monsun® family have been designed for the special ambient conditions presented by industrial manufacturing. A robust housing of glass-fibre reinforced plastic, an impact-resistant pearl diffuser of PMMA or impact-resistant cover of PC with high quality prismatic structures and a special sealing system provide protection against temperature fluctuations, critical humidity conditions and aggressive ambient conditions. High quality diffuser catches and mounting elements of stainless steel make the luminaire highly reliable. The Monsun luminaires with either T16 or T26 fluorescent lamps feature IP65 protection and in combination with the PC enclosure, impact resistance to IK07. Refined lighting technology creates a homogenously wide and glare-restricted light distribution on the working plane and ceiling. With wide-ranging and installation-friendly accessories the Monsun® luminaires are suitable for ceiling surface-mounting, suspended mounting and single or continuous row arrangements to mounting rails.

dimming operation
Safe and trouble-free dimming of fluorescent lamps is only guaranteed with ambient temperatures of > 10°C. Limited use with lower temperatures (please enquire)
