Comfort Luminaires For Safe Tunnels And Underpasses
The new generation of Siteco tunnel luminaires constructed with stainless steel defies corrosive conditions and the ingress of dust and dirt, and with levels of illuminance and performance that more than satisfy all standards.
Safety is the primary aim of development engineers for tunnel luminaires at Siteco. The new generation of Siteco luminaires are additionally characterised by a high degree of comfort: patented catches allow the luminaire to be opened without the use of tools. According to needs, the catches can be individually operated to open either the left or the right side of the luminaire.
The 5NA 851, 5NA 853 and 5NA 854 tunnel luminaires can be equipped with high pressure sodium lamps from 70 to 400W and reflectors for symmetrical or asymmetrical light distribution. The luminaires are available with power reduction, without a timer.
The stainless steel housing variations include a construction with double gasketting (5NA851), a construction with simple frame (5NA853) and a frameless construction. The etched and passivated outer surface and the safety glass enclosure (5mm, 5NA 851; 6 mm 5NA 854 and 5NA 853) make the luminaires extremely hard-wearing and resistant with a long service life.
Housing dimensions allow single and twin lamping. All variations are simple to install at the tunnel ceiling or mounted directly upon the rail underneath the tunnel ceiling.
