The guiding control of optics
Characteristic for the new luminaire family are a uniform illumination and a soft light transition.
According to individual needs you may choose among three different enclosures: a clear enclosure with prism optics, the enclosures with opal diffuser or, alternatively, with frosted diffuser optics. Supplementary reflectors for asymmettrical or wide distribution light are also available. In comparison with louvre luminaires having purely direct distribution, the Siluette generates an added benefit: spacial organisation is more flexible and the sense of well-being is heightened.
Prism optics
The Siluette ariation with clear enclosure and prism optics stands for viewing comfort combined with uniform visual conditions.
Viewing comfort in most work spaces and public spaces can only be guaranteed with a flexible lighting concept having a low level of direct glare. Spacial lighting is created whereby the best possible glare reduction is coupled with uniform viewing conditions.
Diffuser optics
The variation with opal diffuser optics stands for a homogenous and uniform light. Gentle light creates a pleasant, calm atmosphere. Recommended application areas are e.g. industrial and trade workshops (fine to heavy assembly work), sales areas, entrance halls, waiting zones and rooms, cafeterias and kitchens.
The bright, white light of the Siluette with frosted diffuser optics allows for high lighting levels with an accompanying degree of visual comfort. The result is a feeling of safety, and an assurance that orientation is maintained. Recommended application areas: e.g. storage areas and warehouses, packing and dispatch areas, industrial and trade workshops (fine to heavy assembly work), cloakrooms, stairwells, archives and libraries.
