Siteco Mirrortec® - Simply Light

The principle is easy: a projector emits a light beam that is dispersed with a deflection reflector and reflected without glare back into the spacial area. This technology was implemented for the first time by Siteco under the name of "Mirrortec", and was developed further for numerous other applications.

Highly efficient lighting technology

Outdoor luminaires with Siteco Mirrortec® technology combine highly efficient lighting technology with qualitative design. As well as a sophisticated appearance, they impress with the excellence of their materials. Solid diecast aluminium combined with an exclusive design create luminaires with an exciting combination of solidity and transparency. A shield and lens system reduces the proportion of unwanted light spill to less than 3%. With SM300 luminaires the Siteco Lens Light System is optionally available. All outdoor luminaires with Siteco Mirrortec® Technology are designed for metal halide lamps, which function as an ideal source for brillant, daylight-similar light.

A practical conception

The reflector distributing light in the emission area is practically maintenance-free. The solid aluminium canopy with all-round dripping edge protects the reflector from adverse weather conditions and at the same time serves as the the luminaire canopy. The light distribution reflector of the Siteco Mirrortec® SM 300 outdoor luminaire consists of up to 408 single facets with free-form geometry, and according to the specific model is either elliptical or quadratic.
