Volkswagen go lupo for Siteco`s Lunis
Technology from Siteco has enabled Volkswagen to carry its corporate colours right through to the lighting systems in its new UK training centre. The car manufacturer’s corporate blue is reflected in inserts that provide a halo effect to Siteco’s Lunis R surface-mounted downlights in the ground-floor reception and canteen at the centre in Wymbush, Milton Keynes where dealership staff from all over the country go for training.
The flat, minimalist design of the Lunis R range makes it ideal for use in shallow and concrete ceilings and its ability to be dimmed and used with coloured shutters makes it a multi-skilling platform for a wide variety of lighting tasks in offices, shops and public areas.
Another Siteco system, the ultra-flat Quadrature direct/indirect luminaire that can be recessed and surface/track-mounted, was specified by CMI Consulting and pendant-mounted in the first floor training rooms.
This latest generation of Quadrature luminaires features Siteco’s new microprismatic Eldacon technology in which the light provided by the T5 fluorescent lamps is directed into the training rooms via microprisms to give completely glare-free lighting.
