Siteco Mirrortec® At The High Tech Campus

Until 1992, up to 800 road racers from the former italian Autobianchi car plant rolled off the assembly line. Today the industrial site in Desio near Milan has again become the focus of industry, economy and research. Around 2,500 people from 100 companies and institutes will work upon approximately 300,000 square metres of space.

The technology, economy and research community includes office buildings, residential areas, gastronomy and fitness centres. Departments of the Milan-Bicocca University will also be situated on the converted industrial premises. The museum 'Town in Town' and the gastronomy area will be illuminated by products from Siteco.

Within the 10,000m² multifunctional building, Siteco Mirorrtec® technology will set the exponents in scene. The multi-award-winning Siteco Mirrortec® Projector 400 as well as highly effective reflectors with freeform specular facets ensure that the exhibition areas receive the optimal combination of directed and ambient light.

In the restaurant of the campus-type site, STREXX luminaires with louvre optics produce comfortable, attractive light for a business lunch or a dinner for two. The luminaire housings have been adapted to the general spacing in order not to detract from its modern interior design. The STREXX luminaire makes possible a flexible room layout: tables and chairs can be moved around freely without the necessity of having to rearrange the luminaire positioning. A STREXX replaces up to six louvre luminaires as it offers spacial illumination and directed light within one fixture. That means a reduction in mounting points and a high level of energy conservation.
