Lighting Up the Wind
The new highlight of the Luxury Jumeirah International hotel chain is the arabian resort Madinat Jumeirah. It is situated directly on the Jumeirah beach and is connected by way of a catwalk with the famous Burj Al Arab hotel.
The Windtowers, the tower structures of the hotel building, are illuminated with Monsun T26 luminaires from Siteco. Three kilometres of waterways traverse the complex that encompasses hotels, patio villas, a shopping centre, an extensive wellness facility and the largest conference and event centre in the area.
'Mina A'Salam', the arabian name of the stylish 300-room hotel means 'harbour of peace and freedom', and is situated next to a beach lagoon that is connected by canals and waterways. The complex is an attractive reconstruction incorporating the UAE's traditional architectural style, and is about 25km distant from Dubai airport.
