Outdoor Lighting:-SR100 Luminaires

The junction road of a D1 motorway  in Plzeň, which is an elongation of Klatovy street, has been equipped with high quality Siteco SR 100 luminaires. The aim was to illuminate a dangerous section of the road leading into the city of Plzeň across a dam, a place were serious and frequent car accidents have occurred. Unusual illumination requirements were taken into account in the lighting design, as well as higher density of luminaires enabling improved driver navigation from a greater distance. That led to a very high longitudinal uniformity of higher luminance values on the road, despite the low power input of the luminaires, which made the section safer. Each of the luminaires is placed 10m above the roadway and even if they stand behind an extended emergency stopping lane, they provide a uniform illumination of the roadway thanks to adjusting options of the reflector. The SR 100 luminaire is made for road lighting, street lighting etc. with a possibility of post-top or side-entry mounting with mast flange. The luminaire housing is made of glass-fibre reinforced polyester, supporting frame and the mast flange of diecast aluminium. It has a light grey RAL 7035 surface with UV protection coating.
Highly efficient radial facetted reflectors provide high efficiency and perfect beam distribution, enabling a high-quality lighting with extremely broad spacing. HME, HSE, HST or TC-L lamps can be used. With PMMA or PC bowl, or flat safety glass. Maintenance takes place without tools, a characteristic typical of most Siteco luminaries.
