Zagrab-Buzin: Lighting For Business
In Buzin, the southern district of Zagreb, the Mani-Buzin Business Centre was recently constructed, a complex of four buildings with underground garages. The centre has a total area of c. 20,000 m2 and can be approached from all sides. For the employees of the companies present and their visitors about 600 parking places are available. Well-known brands and corporations such as Lidl, Nike, Peugeot, Procter & Gamble, Toyota and Xerox have situated there. Access roads and parking areas for the modern business centre are illuminated with Siteco light.
The developers, the company Mani d.o.o., decided upon a lighting solution that was developed and produced by Siteco and the renowned consultants IPT d.o.o. in Zagreb. Over 40 Siteco DL500 Maxi post-top luminaires were installed in single and double arrangements.
For the developers some of the most important aspects were the minimised light spill of less than 3% and the highly efficient radial facetted reflector system for large luminaire spacings without sacrificing uniformity of illumination. In places with increased lighting requirements, for example at entrances and exits and parking lots, luminaires with a double arrangement were installed.
For the developers of the business centre, not only the light effects and slim, modern luminaire design were important but also the cost effectiveness of the lighting installation. Factors such as ease of installation and maintenance as well as the relatively large luminaire spacing are indices for energy efficiency.
