Building Bridges With Siteco Lighting Technology.
The Maslenica Bridge across Novsko Zdrilo, with its length of 315,3 m and its connection roads to the major road of Jadranska magistrala (national road D-8) was put into service in 2005. The levelling of the Maslenica Bridge crosses Novsko Zdrilo at the height of 55 m above the sea level, which is 37 metres lower than the levelling of the Maslenica Bridge on the line of the motorway (92 m).
Due to its favourable location, this bridge will be a traffic alternative in case of closing the motorway because of the north wind. The traffic profile of the new bridge has a total width of 10,5 m, which is 1,1 m more than the old one.
Siteco Sicompact A2 MIDI asymmetrical floodlights provide illumination and set the bridge perfectly in scene against a backdrop of blue sea and lush, mediterranean vegetation. The asymmetrical lighting technology limits glare and light spill. A pressure equalisation system with air-permeable membrane within the luminaires prevents build-up of condensation. IP66 protects from dust and moisture.
