The Lunis SL downlight has a wide beam symmetrical light distribution. This makes possible a harmonious and at the same time cost-efficient general lighting. It gives the customer the means to find his whereabouts and gather first impressions of the goods displayed.

For the targetted accenting of sales areas or architectural elements, Lunis SL directional spotlights are used. Focussed light places products in the field of vision of customers and sets them in-scene at the POS. The Lunis SL directional spotlight, with a choice of 8° or 28° beam spread, is the optimal solution for accented lighting.  The luminaire can be rotated 360° and tilted 40° for exact directional targetting.

The illumination of walls and shelving is also of importance at the POS: Uniform vertical illuminance levels serve to emphasise wall surfaces and create a bright, friendly ambience. The Lunis SL wall washer with asymmetrical light distribution has been designed to provide a particularly homogenous lighting of the whole wall surface from the floor to the ceiling. The special lighting technology minimises light spill to the ceiling and supports an optimal presentation of goods on walls and shelving with its premium quality illumination.

With the Lunis SL luminaires an inconspicuous, unobtrusive design goes hand-in-hand with high-grade illumination and optimised reflector design. The Lunis SL is a modularly constructed system and convinces with its simple and tool-free installation. The universal diecast aluminium mounting ring is equipped with a fastlock system allowing a simple, rapid mounting with ceiling thicknesses of 2-45mm. The mounting ring accomodates the various light inserts, i.e. downlights, directional spots or wallwashers can be clicked in or exchanged at random. The Lunis SL Downlight is equipped with state-of-the-art discharge lamp technology (HIT-CE 35-150W with ceramic arc tubes) and electronic ballasts.  As with installation, lamp replacement with all light inserts is achieved without use of tools.
