The manifold lighting tasks within a building come together in a unified design concept: Comfolight® 2. Whether the lighting technology selected is ELDACON® microprismatics, CAT 2, HDP cross blade louvres or an opal diffuser, the design of the luminaire stays the same. If viewing tasks change, the lighting technology can be adapted and retrofitted with ease.

Variation: One Design, Many Options.

With Comfolight® 2, flexible interior and lighting design gains a new dimension. According to the lighting task required, there is a choice of various lighting technologies: Eldacon® microprismatic technology reduces glare and reflection considerably, making it ideal for high-grade visual tasks, and decorative HDP cross-blade louvres are deployed for sophisticated work, conference or entrance areas. The variation with an opal diffuser shows its strength in a uniform general lighting for corridors, foyers and ancillary areas. Comfolight® 2 with a CAT 2 specular louvre is a classical version for the lighting of VDU workstations. The luminaire housing is identical, whichever optical variation is chosen by the customer.

As well as replaceable lighting technologies, Multiwatt technology also supports the concept of a variety of room uses. In multi-axis office spaces the luminaire module size 954mm allows for additional flexibility and the possibility of a future-safe planning of the lighting installation.
Flexible office layouts, independent of room axes and fenestration are the result. If supplementary wall partitions are added or removed, the luminaire does not have to be removed and remounted.

An Exciting Contrast: Linear Design With Unobtrusive Emotion.

Siteco’s new lighting solution, the Comfolight 2, is an architectural, angular luminaire that allows a perfect integration within its architectural ambience with elegant, unobtrusive design proportions. At the same time it makes itself noticed with ist subtle, soft emotionality.
At first glance the minimalistic, cuboid shape and clear, angular lines make themselves apparent. Slimline, elegant and timeless, it blends itself perfectly within the spacial architecture. A particular design characteristic is the offset horizontal housing fringe of 5mm. Subtly curved surfaces on the underside of the luminaire create an exciting yet soft contrast to the linear, angular housing. The perceivable dimension of the luminaire housing is considerably minimised with the combination of defined edge and the light curvature of the optical enclosure.

Within the design process, the Kiska designers were careful to keep in mind the importance of intelligently structured volumes and balanced proportions – in particular in the relation between housing and optical elements. Anodised extruded profiles give a high-grade and precise surface appearance.

Comfort And Individuality

Various lighting technologies and a wide spectrum of installation possibilities allow for a high deployment diversity. All pendant luminaires have a direct/indirect light distribution and a Y-wire suspension. Surface mounted luminaires (direct beam) can be simply fixed via a click connection flushly to the pre-mounted back plate. With the aid of connector elements, a continuous row mounting is possible. Multiwatt technology, electronic control gear and dimming make the luminaire an energy-effcient all-rounder.
