A Facelift For Ludwigshafen

Press release

The town of Ludwigshafen has edged towards the Rhein with a new passage and a public park between the Berliner Platz and the river bank. The lighting concept’s main attractions are the SM 300, Galaxie and Fantasie outdoor luminaires from Siteco.

Siteco Fantasie luminaires border the new access to the river bank and Rhein promenade as well as the promenade itself, which has been newly designed as part of the general facelift for the town. The luminaires have been deployed both with post-top mounting and surface-mounted wall mounting. The surface-mounted wall version underlines the pleasing, natural atmosphere of the land-scaping.

The nearby Berliner Platz is illuminated with SM 300 and Galaxsie luminaires. Siteco secondary reflector technology sets the tone for both luminaire families. Large luminaire spacing and reduced light immission levels make these luminaires the ideal solution both economically and ecologically. The pleasing designs and their aesthetic compatibility to one another serve to heighten the appearance of the landscaping, leading to better possibilities for relaxation and recreation for visitors and residents alike to Ludwigshafen.
