Disposal of old products according to the Electrical and Electronic Statute

In line with the EU legislation the Siteco group and the local subsidiaries did make arrangements for the return and disposal of marked luminaires.

In Germany, e.g., the Electrical and Electronic Statute (ElektroG) is coupled with a duty to correct waste disposal. Siteco has authorised the ISD Interseroh Dienstleistungs GmbH from Cologne to dispose of all old products.

The commitment to correctly dispose of old products by Siteco concerns only those products that were brought to market after 13/08/2005. The luminaires affected are marked with a crossed-out dustbin and a black line underneath. Costs for transport to the waste disposal company are footed by the last owners. Waste disposal companies other than Interseroh can be allocated when a postcode is entered into the formfield below. Siteco luminaires marked according to ElektroG are being accepted from 24/03/2006. The last owner must make sure that the return and disposal of marked luminaires occurs solely through the waste disposal company designated by Siteco.
