Features

Taris® is the new luminaire range for universal lighting in offices and public buildings. Thanks to its diversity of variants it finds use in highly different applications ranging from classic offices with VDU workstations and educational facilities to break rooms and ancillary rooms. The basis for its harmonious light and high visual comfort is the Optical Core System, a combination of louvre and lens technology with all-round light-guiding structures. Taris® is suitable for new lighting systems and as an efficient replacement for conventional systems with T16/T26 lamps.

Special features
  • integrative design for many applications in buildings
  • innovative lighting technology
  • high visual comfort and standard-compliant lighting of VDU workstations
  • various construction sizes and mounting options
  • available with DALI, optionally with integrated sensor technology
  • versions with emergency light functionality according to DIN EN 60598-2-22
Lighting technology

Hybrid optic system consists of a combination of lens technology, reflector technology and peripheral light-guiding structures (Light Guide). This combination achieves very good glare reduction values with light distribution optimised for office applications.
Light Guide Technology ensures high visual comfort, achieves a brilliant appearance and minimises the subjective impression of light by expanding the emitting surface.;
Standard-compliant lighting according to EN 12464-1; UGR≤19(L65≤ 1500cd/m²)

Electrical

Luminaire with 3-pole connection terminal (with DALI: 3-pole + 2-pole for control signal), max. 2.5mm²

Housing

Housing of special plastic mixture of PC and ABS, traffic white (similar to RAL 9016), UV-resistant; Light Guide and lens of transparent PMMA

Mounting instruction
Lay-in mounting in system ceilings without accessories:

  • if only the intermediate cavity exactly above the ceiling cut-out is available for installation purposes, the required mounting dimensions are mounting depth ≥ 25cm
  • if the ceiling cavity to the sides of the ceiling cut-out can be used for recessing (e.g. if no support rods exist as part of the ceiling construction), the required minimum mounting dimension is MTmin= 17cm

Rapid advances in LED technology lead to permanent improvements in energy efficiency. This has the consequence that the luminous flux or power consumption may change accordingly. The current values can be found in the photometric report of each product and in the current download files of the lighting planning data.
