DL® 20 LED
for post-top mounting | asymmetric wide distribution (ST1.2a) for post-top mounting | asymmetric extremely wide distribution (P1.0a) for post-top mounting | symmetric distribution (PL1.2s) design mast for DL® 20

DL® 20 impressively demonstrates how innovative technology can be combined with outstanding design to cast a bridge into the future. DL® 20 LED is the consistent, state-of-the-art further development of the classic lantern-design luminaire, but with the latest energy-efficient LED technology.
The town and park luminaire fulfils DIN EN 13201 for S and ME lighting classes so that standard-compliant road and town square lighting can be achieved with high energy efficiency and a high design appeal. The LED luminaire can be individually set according to needs via the microprocessor-controlled LED operating electronics for the performance packages 'Plus' (with Siteco® Service Box) and 'Premium' (with Street Light Control).

Special features
  • patented multiple light deflection with high power LEDs
  • design with light colours is possible: versions with warm white (3000K) or neutral white (4000K) light colours
  • combination of micro LED reflector of aluminized plastic, luminaire reflector in MIRO® quality and high quality white glass
  • bi-component construction of ring with LED and arm optimises stock-keeping and shortens time needed for installation
  • optimised thermal management: ballast in mast mounting element, luminaire housing acts as heat sink for the LED technology
  • for standard mast, steel with spigot diameter 76mm and for the SM300 series design mast
  • rated service life: L95/B10 at 100,000h

According to version, the luminaires are equipped with differing functionality ranges for light management and monitoring:
All versions with temperature monitoring for protection of LEDs from thermal overload
performance package Plus: with electronic type plate:
Luminous flux constancy over complete service life | Dimming without an external control signal: integrated, factory pre-set and programmable timer for luminous flux reduction in two steps (time value and dimming value for max. operation and both reduction levels is set via the Service Box on the mounted or unmounted luminaire) | on request: can be integrated via SDI into existing digital control systems and controlled from a central control point | alternative luminous flux reduction via 230V control voltage
performance package Premium: with electronic type plate: (can be implemented via additional luminaire controller in the mast installed on-site):
PowerLine-ready with integrated SLC luminaire controller for integration into intelligent, networked light management and monitoring systems (data transmission via standardised LON protocol without supplementary control wires) | further functional range like Plus version

Lighting technology

Patented multiple light deflection via combination of micro LED reflector of aluminized plastic and luminaire reflector in MIRO® quality and flat, reflection-reduced white glass cover, with white High Power LEDs:
The high luminance of the LEDs is dispersed and converted to softly distributed light for highly uniform illumination.
The optical system enables precisely modified light distribution characteristics for typical applications

Luminaire with electronic ballast and pre-assembled cable for connection of luminaire to mast terminal box
Plus performance package: with 5-pole connection cable with free wire ends (2-pole for mains supply + 1-pole for 230V control voltage for power reduction + 2-pole for digital interface Siteco® Digital Interface (SDI)) | SDI for parameterising of luminaire with Siteco® Service Box (with integration of luminaire into digital control system on request) | alternative luminous flux reduction via 230V control voltage; control signal: USt= 230V --> 100% luminous flux; USt= 0V --> approx. 50% luminous flux
Premium performance package: (implemented with supplementary luminaire controller in mast) |
With 2-pole connection terminal with free wire ends (control and monitoring of luminaire from a central control centre without additional control wires; data transmission according to standardised LON protocol)
Connection for potential equalisation as optional accessory. Required to avoid electrostatic charges when installing to non-conductive masts (wood, concrete, plastic etc.)

2-part luminaire housing consisting of ring with LED and arm | ring and arm of cast aluminium | flat optical cover of toughened safety glass (ESG) | high quality weather-resistant coating in Siteco® metallic grey (DB 702S) | protection rating: IP66 | insulation class: II

Application areas
  • service roads, pedestrian or cycle paths, parks:

Asymmetric extremely wide light distribution (P1.0a)

  • ancillary roads and service roads, residential areas:

Asymmetric wide light distribution (ST1.2a)

  • urban areas and squares, pedestrian zones and shopping streets

Symmetric wide light distribution (PL1.2s)

  • possible luminaire spacing up to 42m

Rapid advances in LED technology lead to permanent improvements in energy efficiency. This has the consequence that the luminous flux or power consumption may change accordingly. The current values can be found in the photometric report of each product and in the current download files of the lighting planning data.
