DL® 50 mini

FEATURES

The DL® 50 LED sets standards in terms of daytime effect, nocturnal performance and user convenience in the technical decorative luminaire sector. Mast and catenary variants are completely matched to high-efficiency LED technology and provide maximum flexibility for application-oriented lighting according to needs, ranging from main roads to residential streets.
The family concept features two construction sizes, each with three connection variants, along with various lumen packages, reflector geometries and light colours. A focus was placed on easy installation and convenient maintenance. The luminaires are wired ready for connection, and the inclination angle is simply and reliably set via a ratchet setting. The reliable Siteco gear tray concept ensures that even the ECG can be replaced on the mast. The luminaire is also upgradable to future improvements in LED performance thanks to the modular design of LED unit, gear tray and housing. An investment in DL® 50 LED luminaires is therefore an investment in a sustainable and future-fit lighting infrastructure.

SPECIAL FEATURES

  • maximum performance and efficiency due to matched system of housing, LEDs, optics and control electronics
  • standard-compliant lighting for towns and parks, with integrative design for highly diverse applications
  • lighting according to needs due to two construction sizes with diverse lumen packages and three light colours in Basic, Plus and Premium
  • various light distribution patterns: asymmetric wide distribution (roads), asymmetric extremely wide distribution (cycle paths, narrow roads), symmetric (extremely) wide distribution (catenary mounting)
  • flexible mounting options via mast post-top and mast side-entry fixing as well as two wire fixings
  • easy-installation luminaire and maintenance concept for simple handling, and rapid replacement of the gear tray with ECG and LED unit

FUNCTIONS

According to version, the luminaires are equipped with differing functionality ranges for light management and monitoring:
All versions with temperature monitoring for protection of LEDs from thermal overload
Basic performance package:
Luminous flux reduction via 230V control voltage | no luminous flux constancy
Plus performance package with electronic type plate:
Luminous flux constancy over complete service life | Dimming without an external control signal: integrated, factory pre-set and programmable timer for luminous flux reduction in two steps (time value and dimming value for max. operation and both reduction levels is set via the Siteco® Service Box on the mounted or unmounted luminaire) | on request: can be integrated via SDI into existing digital control systems and controlled from a central control point | alternative luminous flux reduction via 230V control voltage
Premium performance package with electronic type plate:
PowerLine-ready with integrated SLC luminaire controller for integration into intelligent, networked light management and monitoring systems (data transmission via standardised LON protocol without supplementary control wires) | further functional range like Plus version

Electronic type plate: special component of Plus and Premium performance packages, saving type information, system-specific configuration and operating/performance data. Automatically configures newly installed LED units or ECGs

LIGHTING TECHNOLOGY

Diverse optic system consists of precisely matched combination of high-performance LED arrays and extremely precise 3-zone faceted reflectors.
The high luminance of the LEDs is dispersed and converted by the system to softly distributed light for highly uniform, standard-compliant illumination with flowing contrast transitions and significantly reduced glare.
Enables precisely modified light distribution characteristics for all typical applications

ELECTRICAL

Luminaire with pre-assembled connection cable (H07RN-F, 1.5mm²) for connection of luminaire in mast terminal box: l = 6.5m/8.5m (DL® 50 LED mini - lower luminous flux/higher luminous flux); l = 10.5m (DL® 50 LED midi)
Basic performance package: 3-pole luminaire connection (2-pole for mains supply + 1-pole for 230V control voltage for power reduction) | control signal: USt= 230V --> 100% luminous flux, USt= 0V --> approx. 50% luminous flux
Plus performance package: 5-pole luminaire connection (2-pole for mains supply + 1-pole for 230V control voltage for power reduction + 2-pole for Siteco® Digital Interface (SDI)) | SDI for parameterising of luminaire with Siteco® Service Box (with integration of luminaire into digital control system on request) | alternative luminous flux reduction via 230V control voltage
Premium performance package: 2-pole luminaire connection (control and monitoring of the luminaire from a central control point without supplementary control wires; data transmission according to standardised LON protocol)
Connection for potential equalisation as optional accessory. Required to avoid electrostatic charges when installing to non-conductive masts (wood, concrete, plastic etc.)

HOUSING

Luminaire housing and mast mountings of diecast aluminium | with high quality weather-resistant coating in Siteco® metallic grey (DB 702S) | flat optical cover of toughened safety glass (ESG) with inner hinge; can be hinged downwards | mast mounting as mast post-top element and as mast side-entry element suitable for both luminaire sizes; fixing to central mounting point on upper side of luminaire | inclination angle at the central mounting point locks in steps – with post-top mounting (0°/5°/10°); with mast side-entry (0°/5°/10°/15°) | protection rating: IP66 | insulation class: II

APPLICATION AREAS

  • service roads, pedestrian or cycle paths, parks:

Asymmetric extremely wide light distribution (P1.0a)

  • main roads, side roads, service roads and residential areas:

Asymmetric wide light distribution (ST1.2a)

  • urban areas, shopping streets, squares, crossing areas with catenary installations – wide roads:

Symmetric wide distribution (ST1.2s)

  • pedestrian zones, urban areas with catenary installations – narrow streets:

Symmetric wide light distribution (ST0.5s)
Symmetric extremely wide light distribution (P1.0s)

Rapid advances in LED technology lead to permanent improvements in energy efficiency. This has the consequence that the luminous flux or power consumption may change accordingly. The current values can be found in the photometric report of each product and in the current download files of the lighting planning data.
