Lighting management

Lighting management stands for flexible lighting and the use of light according to needs.

Where conventional spacial or town lighting meets its limits and cannot satisfy requirements for visual ergonomics, user orientation, safety and well-being, an ‘intelligent lighting management is needed.
All systems that can break through the inflexible pattern of switching ‘on and off’ belong to the category of lighting management.

Phrases such as ‘light according to needs’ or ‘energy-efficient creation of light’ call for the use of electronic control gear. These control units, the core of light management systems, are electronic components (such as sensors, ripple control and Powerline devices, controllers, ECGs) that take over the controlling and regulation of lighting and ensure illumination according to needs. They are integrated within luminaires and controlling elements and can be programmed for both individual luminaires and complete road lighting installations.
