SITECO Connect Casambi enables wireless networking of outdoor luminaires – as an independent system or fully integrated into DALI and building automation infrastructures.
SITECO Connect Wireless Outdoor - System overview
Control options:
Local and autonomous control
Interconnection of individual sensors. Setup and control of the wireless network via the Casambi app using a tablet or smartphone.
Centralized control via existing infrastructure
Outdoor luminaires are integrated as DALI nodes into the wired DALI control system (e.g. building management systems) – while remaining individually controllable and diagnosable via wireless communication.
Components:
Wireless Controller
Controls and wirelessly networks the luminaires – either integrated into the building management system or as a purely local wireless network. Configurable via the Casambi app. Control based on time schedules and daylight levels. Switching and dimming schedules are stored locally on the device.
Smart Plug Casambi
Local wireless network with a range of up to 150 m; Zhaga-D4i-compatible luminaire controller.
Mast Controller
Luminaire controller for external mounting on pole or bracket. Connected to the luminaire via DALI line, with a wireless range of up to 70 m.
Optional accessories
Motion sensor Motion 2PIR
The motion sensor is an accessory for the Smart Plug Casambi in standalone networks. It can be configured locally using the Casambi app, but not via a DALI network. The Smart Plug Casambi is a mandatory accessory for operation.
Gateway Smart Plug Box
Gateway for connection to the DALI lines of an existing DALI control system. By adding and configuring a Smart Plug Casambi as a gateway, a local DALI-based wireless network is established to the Smart Plugs Casambi installed at the luminaires.
Wireless Push-Button
Various wireless push-buttons with a range of 30 to 70 m. Designed for surface wall mounting. Includes status LED indicator. 1.5 m connection cable with plug.
Additional accessoires
Timer & Repeater
230 V mains plug; maintains configuration and time settings of Casambi networks (requires 24/7 power supply). Stores data for up to 12 hours in case of power failure. Also functions as a wireless repeater.
Casambi-Gateway
Remote control of one Casambi network per gateway. Configuration and operation via the Connect Sport app. Equipped with Ethernet and Wi-Fi interface.
Cellular Router
Enables remote control of the gateway via the mobile network. Supports use of a personal SIM card (not included). Includes antennas, Ethernet cable, and power supply.
Junction Box
IP66 weatherproof enclosure with three cable entries for connecting the pole-mounted controller to multiple luminaires (up to three).
Configuration & operation
Casambi-App
Remote setup and control os carried out via the casambi app. Available free of charge from the App Store and Google Play Store.
