Refurbishment and lighting modernization

For the historic town center of Bad Aibling, 160 Robers lanterns were completely refurbished and modernized for lighting.

The planners opted for LED technology combined with aluminum mirror reflectors, which were coated in gold. Additionally, the fixtures were sandblasted, repainted, and the structural glass was replaced with clear impact-resistant PMMA. This allows the lanterns to emit a golden glow without causing significant light pollution.
